Surf Lessons
Gulf Coast Surf School
During a typical lesson, you can expect 1-2 hours of instruction and board rental. We will teach you how to assess current conditions and provide a report on marine life. Additionally, we will cover water safety and etiquette. The land class includes instruction on proper prone position, paddling technique, the "pop up," and correct stance. Once we're in the water, we will teach you the proper methods for "paddling out" (such as duck diving, log roll, nose dives, etc.) and provide assistance with line-up placement and catching waves.
